I am selling a vehicle from my private collection! I AM SELLING A 1970 CONVERTIBLE ROADRUNNER!!!!!!!!!( It has a number's Matching 383 Motor and is stock from the Carb to the rear end. I have put less than 2k on it since purchasing it. It is a SPECIALLY ORDERED (Blank Build/Fender Tag) vehicle. The high-performance 383 cubic-inch engine was standard on Roadrunners. This engine included a high performance cam and heads borrowed from the 440's parts bin, a 4-barrel carburetor, high-flow exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust, and an unsilenced air cleaner. These changes increased the horsepower rating to 335HP !!!!!! All Roadrunners (except Superbirds) had a standard bulge hood. The hood paint treatment was usually black but My roadrunner came with a white hood paint treatment. Of the 429 convertible roadrunner's produced that year with a 383 automatic Transmission combination it is believed to be the only surviving Corporately ordered(specially Ordered by the Dealer) in existance. The Following is a letter I have from the President and Owner of George Rusch , Inc. Dear Mr. xxxxxx , In reference to the Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible VIN # RM27NOG12***,THIS CAR WAS ordered new for my Plymouth Dealership in my 1970 Inaugural Year. The car was special ordered as part of my initial stock for sale. The car is B-5 Blue(Blue Fire Matalic)bright blue interior with white welt, Black Dash and Dash Pad. 383 Engine,A.T., P.S. P. Top(White top, White stripe Kit,15" Ralleye Wheels, 11" manual Drum Brakes,Power Drivers Seat and a full Road Runner Decal Kit. This car was also used in the Dealership as a Plymouth Advertising Vehicle by placing a stuffed coyote animal under the front wheel and waiting all the dealership's client's to laugh or respond by buying cars. Chrysler/Plymouth dealer from 1/1/70 to 12/30/1989 Sighed by George Rusch, President. If you would like to truly own a piece of history here it is. Typically people believe that the G.M.'s C.O.P.O. program was rare....well it's nothing compared to the scarcity of a Mopar Specially Ordered Vehicle( Blank Build/Fender Tag) At Mopar during assembly there was one line for regular production and when necessary for specially ordered vehicles, they were pulled off the line and built up to the dealer's request. Some of these received an ultra rare and almost priceless Blank Build/Fender Tag. Out of the 300 Plus Muscle Car's I have owned over the year's this is the only one one that has made me feel like I am "SITTING ON TOP OF THE WORLD!" NO MATTER WHAT MOOD YOUR IN LOOK AT THE CAR AND YOU SMILE FROM YOUR TOES TO YOUR NOSE. START THE CAR AND YOUR BLOOD BOILS WITH EXCITEMENT AND ANTICIPATION! The Car is Located In Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is waiting for a new home. (P.S. Her name is Valerie) I WILL ACCEPT 50K CASH AND TRADE FOR A BOAT OF VALUE OF ATLEAST 25K THIS IS A TRULY ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!!!!!!!!
